After spending a year homeless in 2015, defeated by the system, working hard as an electrician in the UK. I decided I was going to put all my efforts into understanding what real estate is. I thought it was a sure way to become rich and the perfect opportunity to not become homeless again.

I threw myself into everything real estate including books, courses (online and offline), events, communities etc. I quickly realised most people were making more money selling courses about how to buy real estate using other people's money and few had made serious money using it as an investment vehicle.

I noticed when you buy the property it's not yours from the beginning unless you buy it outright and even then it comes with many caveats. You're either trapped in a 25/30 year mortgage or succumb to the layers of red tape and beauracracy measures put in place by British policy makers, where they steal any benefits you make owning the property through various taxation mechanisms.

I came to the conclusion that a home should be just that.. a home for shelter and security.

I never realised until I read this paragraph in @npub1d3f4m9dgvkdjxn26pqzsxn6lpfn78sxwllxyt8mp76q0a9zyyjlswhr4xv 's The Big Print, how researching real estate could have been the catalyst for my journey into Bitcoin.
