Good video, very interesting.
I've been using a lot of keyboard shortcuts over the past few years, so this is my take: operating systems (and software in general) should focus more on the keyboard experience and less on how to display items so they can be clicked. The mouse is essential for some tasks, but I'd say most of them can be done without it.
A keyboard first experience should solve a lot of problems in this regard.
