Momentous personal news - I've just walked to the shops, and back again, entirely under my own power. Now that I'm home I still have enough energy to make a proper cooked lunch of some sort. That's the key achievement. It's been ages since I could go for a long walk (with luggage) and still be able to do something else before bedtime.
I'm not claiming to be 100% well (by my standards), but I'm very close to it.
