My 8 yo chihuahua has been a #pawlicker forever. I misunderstood & thought she did it bec she was bored or it had become a habit.
Recently, I read about #allergies in dogs. The most common allergen for dogs is #chicken. Hands down ckn or chicken by-products are found in almost every dog food. Allergy shots for dogs are expensive. My vet quoted $75 & said the shot should be repeated every 4-6 wks. I can't afford it.
I found a food that has no chicken. In just 1 wk, the licking has stopped.
