Mods aren't going to fix the online DRM bullshit it has. I got already suspicious when I couldn't even play the demo character customizer without steam being online. Go ahead, try it yourself if you have it downloaded.
I wonder if cracks in the future are going to mitigate that to a working state. Maybe then it would be worth the money.
