I got SteamVR working on Kubuntu. The only issue I have now is the frame rate is bad. I wonder if that is fixable on my side. I have been testing different settings in SteamVR to no avail. I am on AMD video card and using the open source drivers. For now I dual boot with Windows and switch as needed.
