It's technically a metric measurement, but uses weather and the human body as baseline references rather than water, which is why Fahrenheit is somewhat more intuitive for weather and fever grades. Of course, Celsius is better for measuring water and stuff relative to it, but the concepts behind the measures are near identical except for the reference points affecting the scale.",
