There is a difference between biological and legal gender.
In the United States and Europe Union and English countries gender equality is the legal standard.
If you support affirmative action gender equality quotas in terms of employment opportunity, scholarships and college admissions than the legal precedent you invoke means it is just as valid to say you are a male as a female legally whatever your biological gender is
Someone can say they legally identify as a different gender then their biological gender without claiming to be a different biological gender than their birth gender for doctor's visits
They can do so without getting surgery or taking drugs
I support the right of males to change their legal gender to female on their drivers licenses and passports for job application, college admissions, and scholarship purposes to get around the laws that discriminate against males as long as affirmative action gender equality quotas the legal status but simultaneously males are discriminated against
I suggest all males legally identify as females when doing all job applications until affirmative action laws and policies are abolished
But I discourage people from getting the transgender surgery or the drugs which are not necessary to register as whatever gender you want based on the legal precedent created by legal gender equality
This is not the same as agreeing that someone can become a different biological gender but simply using their legal precedent that all genders are legally equal and that therefor a legal male is the same as a legal female.
