Thoughts on debate: neither candidate did well, and I don't think either achieved their objective.
It was pretty clear Biden had some sort of illness, and it undermined his performance. I suspect if he has a solid July 4th speech, it'll erase most of the setback.
I suspect the debate will have minimal real impact, though. I suspect most people watching were disappointed, but not influenced.
