My father used to say that he loved the way you could see toolmarks on carving and modeling.



That he was pleased to see the magic of the artisan revealing a bit. That excessive polishing of sculptures was a sin and he did not liked it.
I like the idea too but when it comes to spoons I have to be careful with that, people generally don't like marks.
