Tell me about your brush with unusual famous-ish people. I’ll start.
In 1991, I went to Nashville with my boyfriend and his family to see his step-sister perform. She was a potentially rising country singer. But that’s not my brush with fame. While in Nashville, my b-friend and I went to a pool hall. While there, we played (I say play but I mean lost terribly) a round of pool with Minnesota Fats. He was quiet and smiled the entire time. Whistled a bit. Seemed unimpressed with beating amateurs.
