The weather in #Umbria has finally taken a turn for the wonderful. Mornings find us outside working in the yard, trying to tame beds that haven't been touched in two years. The trees are finally wearing their spring greens and every view is a delight. Today I found a poor stunted bearded Iris that survived the year the porcupines mowed through our yard like Sherman marched through Georgia. Luckily the porcupines don't eat the tall white irises which have really thrived in the neglect.
