I run a business that accepts #bitcoin as payment using BTCPay. We give a 10% discount for orders paid with btc (https://arnzenarms.com). Even with this discount, it amounts to a little less than 1% of our orders are paid for in bitcoin.
I really think bitcoin, as a store of value, needs to take hold such that most people will have some bitcoin. Once it is common to have bitcoin, people will start trading it for goods and services.
I think we are still so early in this that I don't expect bitcoin, as medium of exchange, to outpace fiat for a very long time.
