It's more like lefties could basically get away with anything before and now they can't. Lefties are complaining to BSky staff about bans too bc they can't go a full week without threatening people.
I do have to admit though, the right wing shift from Twitter to X is very annoying. It's basically 4chan except every account is a bot. Even the accounts that aren't literal bots are just exploiting Elon's monetization, they create controversial threads by saying things no one actually believes to the tune of tens of thousands of accounts, so they might as well be bots.
This engagement baiting is pretty much the only thing the algo promotes too, bc it's just an ad scam.
X is a horrible site to use. It's still better than most alternatives based on it but only bc it has old built in people. It's stagnate and once the old guard is gone, it's going to be dead the same way Facebook is.
