I'm torn here, I agree with your general point, the decline did not start with the Coalition in 2010... but I really don't like the term 'neoliberalism' - it has some technical applicability, but too often critics use it to badge all things they don't like about capitalist economics, when actually those things are not neoliberalism as such but aspects of political ideology... but then again, this is a classic academic complaint about terminology, which may be seen as misdirected
