I have not run a node since like 2017 I think is when I stopped, but shit like this has convinced me that I need to get back into it.
We all need to do our part.
Even if core was perfect it's worth running other programs just for the sake of decentralisation.
Someone was saying that core is 95+% of Bitcoin nodes.
So that's 95% of nodes which share the same vulnerabilities.
