EVERYONE, REPEAT AFTER ME: Discomfort does not equal danger. Yes, there are a lot of unhoused people in the Metro. Yes there are some who are using. I understand that this is uncomfortable. They are not inherently dangerous. The plan by the mayor to rope off public areas and drive them out into the streets is not helping them, it's not even policing. It's herding. Like they are livestock. It's fascist, security theatre. It's fucking shameful.
