Why would you care what anyone else thinks about you? Truly people are awful and insane reactionaries living in a never neverland of their own fear and trauma and prejudices — yes, even aspirational people who accomplish great things. Do whatever the fuck you want. This life is on a shot clock. Pleasing people has never brought me anything I’d label as abundance or progress. I assure you that you won’t be on your deathbed wishing you spent more time being tolerable to people who chose misery.
