Is there a simple Linux tool to do full-text search? I just want to search for a phrase in a file without having to worry about case, or line breaks. Ideally even with typo-correction and stemming.
It feels like this has to be a solved problem, but whatever I type into a search engine, I only find a gazillion articles telling me how to write regular expressions for grep, which I really don't have the time for. I'm just an idiot who wants to find some text in a file.
