"content": "I showed my 17 yr old the classic 1978 John Carpenter film, HALLOWEEN. She liked it. Of course she had questions, like why did the heroine not run away, why did she drop the knife, etc. I told it's the rules of the genre.\n\nI was both surprised and not surprised at the slow pacing of the film. It's a slow burn compared to contemporary films. I also noticed there seemed to be a ton of phones ringing. A lot of the film seems to hinge on calls made and calls missed.\n\n#Halloween #film #movies #horror\nhttps://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/113/292/456/957/188/806/original/7436273f97abe5ad.png\n",
