So, a therapist saw one of my patients & reached out to change the diagnosis from bipolar disorder to "rule out bipolar disorder".
When I saw them, 2 years ago, they had pressured speech, irritability, decreased need for sleep, ideational flight, loose associations, and I could not say a word to them for the first 37 minutes of the patient interview.
Not one word.
So here's a tip: advocate for your patients, but dont ignore *Episodic* nature of presenting patients when you werent there.
