The household hazardous waste drop-off service is an under-appreciated gem in #oakland. Not many places in the US have a service like this
- box up any chemicals or...and this is the real magic..ELECTRONICS
- load into your trunk, hatchback, or pickup truck bed
- drive up during any open hours: no appointment
- stay in your car and they unload for you
- drive away
That's it. No questions asked. I've never had them refuse to take something
