Its... weird?
But mostly because its new, and my dwm has like 6 years of tweaks.
Its kind of like throwing dwm, bspwm, and openbox in a pot, mixing them together, and simmering them in OpenBSD minimalism culture.
Another difference is like watching 24fps video, and 60fps video. Same windows, same stuff, but cwm is smoother and a little snappier. Which is a fairly absurd statement since were talking milliseconds, but its smoother.
But.. one config file, ~/.cwmrc.
Simple.. wrote a complete config in a night from 'man cwmrc'. (there is no default config. have to make one.)
Unique quirks like a window manager menu, to switch to other window managers on the fly, and a ssh host menu, which could presumably be set up to use x11 forwarding with a click, though I havent messed with it yet. Side note: the menu toggle from cwm to dwm is the smoothest, most bug free thing of that type ive ever seen. But its part of the OpenBSD base system, so well integrated and bug free. Also integrates well with OpenBSD's tmux.
Dunno.. using more of the base install, and trying someting new.
