I used to host a close friend's public journal on a subdomain. Our friendship kind of teetered precariously while I was away for college, eventually fading away in the years since. Revisiting my own writing from that period is uncomfortable enough, but reading her entries feels like a profound violation, a bizarre and unsettling intrusion. Mostly, I just want to smack myself for what I put her through during those years.
