This is very cool - and props to them for taking a project like this on. It's not an easy problem to solve, especially with the L1s that are dominant out there right now. I think having extensive composability that can truly trace rights ownership and asset usage requires designing layered systems that can account for something (like an audio file) from the most atomic level possible through creation to end-use.
It's hard to create that architecture unless you can plot out how each piece of the structure interacts with each other. It's one of the reasons I like new L1s like Sui -- its programming language centers composability, which allows for the network to scale in a more ordered way from the beginning.
