A friend gifted me this (belated) Rosh Hashanah honey today for the start of 5785.
It’s not a good new year, especially as tonight I watch—with horror and a deep sense of powerlessness—images on IG of people in tents at Al Aqsa Hospital in Gaza being burned alive by the bombs of Israel and its allied states, by the IOF and its allied military contractors, by the legacy and contemporary manifestations of colonialism, Zionism, and fascism.
May we recommit ourselves to engaging in the sweetness of solidarity and mutual aid,
collective care and widespread resistance,
#UntilAllAreFree.
