There has been some already, for several years (https://fc18.ifca.ai/preproceedings/6.pdf). Def not saying it's ok, just that they didn't wait for Ordinals and Inscriptions to put this shit on Bitcoin.
I don't like inscriptions but we can't censor a full protocol for the abuses of some users. Take Bitcoin as an exemple.
