Its good that more schools are teaching economics (even if the economics taught is often remorseless orthodox), but even now with more women visible in high profile economics-related jobs (not least the Chancellor), there remains a persistent 30/70 gender split in economics students (with men in the majority).
This both reflects & reinforces the gender imbalance in the profession... but then, Rachel Reeves is no great advert for what women economists might do differently!
