Ladies and gentlemen I have a story for you. During my quest to learn more about lightning wallets I downloaded a multitude. I found Phoenix wallet seemed pretty legit so I put som says there. I then found wallet of Satoshi which had an easy to use lightning address so I sent 10% of my Phoenix says there.
But what happened next was weird since every time I opened my Phoenix wallet it said I had no data and could not connect to the lightning network. Anyways I tried closing the app starting the app. As a lightning noob I assumed my sats were gone due to some glitch and thus the story remained dormant for a number of weeks. Until today, when I realized the sats are tied to the keys so I reinstalled Phoenix and recovered my sats from the keys and they were there! Anyways just wanted to tell someone about my journey in case they had a similar assumption they ran into a bug with a wallet.
TLDR: sats are tied to keys and I’m dumb
