It took over a month to get the tapes, but I can now confirm that the "high quality" and "fully restored" DVD remaster of BraveStarr was done by people that had no clue what they were doing. They scanned the 24fps film, sped it up to 25fps, and then converted it from 25fps to 30fps. And to top it all off, there's *no* PAL release of BraveStarr at all so it makes no sense to have sped it up to 25fps.
