I don't know if most people understand this or not but Bitcoin lightning payments are eventually batched as one single transaction on-chain. So therefore they get inserted into blocks and Mind by Bitcoin miners. Lightning payments are not going to hurt the Bitcoin blockchain as they are still part of the main chain. So I'm not sure what the argument about miners getting hurt by Bitcoin lightning payments is all about.
