I’m a transgender woman who presents as a woman in daily life, but I have not medically transitioned at all, my legal name is my dead name, and my legal gender is the one I was assigned at birth. I think my cishetero bestie may be underestimating the challenges. Are there even single-occupancy gender neutral public toilets in Kuala Lumpur?
