"content": "I had gotten the impression from my bestie that Kuala Lumpur was a queer-friendly city, but reading this article, written 18 months ago, has made me nervous. Are there are any transgender folks here who live in or have travelled to #Malaysia recently and who could give me some advice? I’m a transgender woman who presents as a woman in daily life, but I have not medically transitioned at all, my legal name is my dead name, and my legal gender is the one I was assigned at birth. I think my cishetero bestie may be underestimating the challenges. Are there even single-occupancy gender neutral public toilets in Kuala Lumpur? My flight is just 9 days from now! #LGBTQ #transgender #KualaLumpur\nhttps://queerintheworld.com/lgbt-rights-in-malaysia/",
