I tried warping higher genus uniform polyhedra into mult-holded doughnuts. I only succeeded for the Octahemioctahedron, which has genus 1.
But an easier project would be to warp the hyperbolic fundamental polygon into the polyhedron. "Easy" in principle, but quite a bit of work.
