"content": "Here we go again. How many times do I have to say this. Such workarounds are selfish and in the end, useless. Most people will never know about them and never use them. Google could terminate those workarounds at any time, and probably will after they start running ads on the overviews. Using these workarounds gives Google an excuse not to provide real controls that work for everyone. STOP WITH THE DAMNED WORKAROUNDS and pressure Google and/or lawmakers to make these firms give users control over how generative AI crap is being stuffed down their throats.",
