U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security toured El Cecot prison in El Salvador and threatened to continue “hunting” migrants
Kristi #Noem, U.S. Secretary of #Homeland #Security, visited this Wednesday afternoon the maximum security prison in #ElSalvador, where more than 200 Venezuelan #migrants are being held. Noem, who arrived shortly before in that country on an official visit, toured the #Terrorism Confinement Center #Cecot accompanied by a strong security device and began her tour in the admission area of the inmates where they pass through a scanner, then she went to the warehouse and armory area and later moved to cell 8, where some of the alleged members of the Aragua Train from Venezuela were detained. Noem also sent a message through her social networks where she expressed that President #Trump and she had a clear message for criminal illegal immigrants “Leave now (...) If you don't leave, we will #hunt you down, we will #arrest you and you could end up in this Salvadoran prison.”
