I don't think that Singh standing up to a bully is an example of toxic masculinity. He didn't threaten the man, he challenged him to own his words. Bullies do not stop if you ignore them, sometimes they need to be reminded that words have consequences. In this case, the consequence was being embarrassed on the national stage. Also, Singh standing up for himself might get some men who need a "leader" to take a second look at the NDP.
