I have a hard time believing the US polling average from FiveThirtyEight. On September 26, Harris had 48.6 %, but FiveThirtyEight has her in decline ever since, while Trump is only gaining.
That development would require, that either
— 0 of the undecided voters had ended up deciding for Harris, or
— Harris was losing voters to Trump faster than undecided voters could join her.
Both of these scenarios could be true, if there was some kind of big Harris media scandal, but there is not.
