I just got a new phishing scam:
A message that pretends to be a recruiting email for a job that does not exist.
In this case; I know the job does not exist because I know the director of the organization that the scammer is pretending to represent.
But apparently variations of said scam are going out to a bunch of scientists just now. Be aware, everyone.
(The supposed recruiter is using what is possibly a stolen name with a supposed address that is actually a UPS store in San Francisco.)
