It's not rhetoric to call it fascism.
The horror of German Nazism or Italian fascism didn't show itself fully-fledged to voters in its early days. There were signs. But people VOTED for what seemed "mild" or "reasonable" intolerance, and allowed it to become the horror Canada, the US, etc went to war against. Now we're allowing nasty little men & women like Poilievre (federally), Rustad (BC), Smith (AB), & co lead us down that exact same path. It always ends ugly... #cdnpoli #bcpoli #abpoli
