It's becoming increasingly clear to me that the designers of Paranoia, the role-playing game, were truly prophetic and Alpha Complex is the remnant of some Galt's Gulch community that decided that LLMs were so great they'd just set one up to run their hidden community.
The world Outside is getting along famously without the TESCREAL crowd and has simply designated the area within a hundred miles or so of the dome as a wilderness park that they occasionally seed with fake Big Oops evidence.
