We haven't had a depression/bank-run/apocalypse in the age of social media yet. When it happens it'll likely be discussed on Twitter while the nukes are in flight or whatever.
I'm not saying something will (or won't) happen tomorrow. But chatter on Twitter is no (counter)indication of anything.
