It's so weird that the majority of people today have an algorithm suggesting what music they might like. This has always been the role or family/ friends/ peer group and is a social thing. Whether it used to be a vinyl party, a friend making a mix tape on cassette or listening to someone else's CD collection in their car. Something has been lost to the algo. Will grass root music suggestions make a come back with platforms like
wavlake (npub1yfg…v6vg) or is it gone forever? Maybe I'm overthink it...
