I don't know what to make of the whole Just Stop Oil thing.
I don't think I've ever criticised a jury before but their primary moral duty in my view is nullification and they failed miserably.
It feels like the US electors in 2016. Their primary moral duty is precisely to stop a criminal potential dictator like Trump from becoming President and they failed.
These are key moments in the collapse of a system, it seems to me. I hope I'm wrong. Starmer could undo this one very easily but will he? He has strong authoritarian instincts.
