I disagree. Bitcoin and lightning is nifty, i’m glad we have it. But it’s not what makes Nostr really special. Nostr revives the promise of Web 2.0 where it was easy to make social apps which built upon each other with little or no prior permission needed. The way we can have dozens of different kinds of apps with the same user and some of the same data is fundamental.
