Call me cynical as hell but this feels out of a Raegan-era playbook.
Maybe it's real. But this feels like a ploy to make the man a martyr without any permanent damage and drive more direct violence leading into the election.
It feels off.
I'll be watching the news, I guess, to see what else comes out about this incident.
Edit: I agree with calls to be careful spreading disinformation and rumor. Speculation is one thing but let's see what's what before presenting it as truth.
