It would be one thing if our elected representatives had succumbed to the inevitable bureaucratic creep of centralization and profit motives. This can happen. It does happen. In fact without intentional resistance, it will always happen. But it can be corrected.The problem becomes more serious when the nexus points of centralized power have become addicted to that power, and the profit/control it provides. Add an technocratic elitist mindset to this rolling blob of centralized power addiction, and you've got a real problem on your hands.
While the blob is still fluid, there is hope that reason, dialog, and protest can move things back in the right direction. But if that blob starts to solidify, and those within the blob who have everything to lose start to view the People as an encumbrance and an enemy, your choices have now become binary.
1, or 0. Yes, or No. Surrender, or Fight.
Id like to avoid this. If possible.
