Sys packages > App image > Downloading from the dev's website like I'm still using Windows > AUR > Flatpak > Snap
I tend to use system packages *most* of the time, and I have a handful of app images. I have 1-2 apps that I had to direct download, I have like... No AUR packages anymore? I haven't installed flatpak on a machine intentionally in a couple years, and I have never, and refuse to install Snap on anything. I haven't used *buntu since well before Snaps became a thing, and their QC has let malware through a few more times than I'm comfortable with.
