For progressives, consent is not their highest moral concern. It’s care.
So if you don’t care about the things they care about, they’re willing to have violence visited upon you to get their way.
This isn’t a problem to solve. It’s a feature of moral preferences, which are pre-rational. You can’t argue someone out of their collectivist, might-makes-right mentality.
