interesting take. Think Bessent said it best that: he's confident current course of action will be positive but it's really an unknown outcome given the confluence of variables. But we do know that the prior system was simply not working / needed and should be modified.
Libertarianism in its purist form does not work when the risk of kinetic war is on the table. Particularly for nations that could be a participant and those that heavily rely on non-allies for supply chains for essential goods / services. I do wish though that civilization was in a place where it did work though.
