Anyone know much about the Canberra Alliance for Participatory Democracy?

Nosing around their documents and kitchen table conversations document and things they seem to say the right things, but too often the people with the "democracy is broken and I know how to fix it" end up with citizen introduced referenda and voting by blockchain and disenfranchising unpeople and Bob Katter usually shows up somewhere, so I'm a little nervous.
